I have been an agent with Nationwide, having followed in the footsteps of my grandfather and father, since 1980. Over that time, I have witnessed many changes. Very positive changes that have allowed Nationwide to set the industry standard in so many areas. One thing that continues to be a distinct "feather in our cap" is our remarkable claims service. My clients have had such favorable feedback in regard to that aspect of insurance, which is so important. That is one of the biggest reasons that I take pride in being a representative of Nationwide. Since we are not accountable to shareholders, it is the client/customer that is the main focus for us. We want each customer, like yourself, to have a beneficial insurance experience. So much so that they might even want to tell others about us. Columbus, Ohio is our headquarters and we try to use this state to initiate a very competitive framework for the other states to model. I take pride in the personal conversation. That means my clients talk with me personally because that just seems to be a good fit. They appreciate that and I enjoy that privilege. I am very active member of the community. I find much satisfaction in connecting with guys at the Refuge of Hope Homeless Shelter and also different correctional facilities. Because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I can talk about second chances and offer them hope. I am also very involved at my church, Canton First Church of the Nazarene, with various ministries there including youth leadership, small group (college kids) leadership, evangelism committee and church board. I must say, it is my faith that energizes me.
